Carrickfergus stands on the north shore of Belfast Lough. The seaward approach to the historic town is dominated by the impressive 12th century Norman Keep of its castle looking down on the old harbour (now an extension of the marina). Just a few hundred metres west, past the Sailing Club founded in 1896, a gap in the rocky breakwaters opens into the main basin of Carrickfergus Marina and more than three hundred fully serviced pontoon berths, offices and facilities.
Carrick Marina Berth Holders Association (CMBHA) was constituted shortly after the opening of the marina in 1985 and facilitates boat owners in the marina and harbour by representing their views to the Marina owners and management with the aim of maintaining and developing these excellent amenities for everyone to enjoy.
This website was set up in 2010 to help the committee and CMBHA members communicate more effectively and provide a useful resource for finding out about current activities, issues, discounts and offers. So, if you are a Carrickfergus marina berth holder and are not yet a member, please feel free to leave a comment or better still, join us and play your part in keeping our Marina up to the highest standards.
If you are just visiting the site please leave us a comment to let us know you have been here and what interested you.
